Usage

This template uses the Swiss area data template and can convert the values into km² or km² (sq mi) as well as indicate the year of the survey and create a reference. The format is

{{Swiss area|SFOS number|units=|year=|ref=}}

where units can be either

• km=yes
• mi=yes

If year=yes then it displays (based on the 2004/2009 survey) before the value. Year= can be omitted or left blank to display no text regarding the survey

To add an automatic reference:
