Beavercreek Township is one of the twelve townships of Greene County, 俄亥俄州, 美国. The 2000 census found 41,745 people in the township, 3,063 of whom lived in the unincorporated portions of the township.[3]

Name and history[编辑]

Beavercreek Township was established in 1803 at a meeting in a log house on the Beaver Creek.[5]

It is the only Beavercreek Township statewide.

政府[编辑]

镇区有3人组成的理事会管理。理事会理事选举在奇数年11月举行,并在来年1月1日开始四年任期。两名理事的选举在总统选举后一年举行,另一名的选举在总统选举前一年举行。镇区财务官亦由选举产生[6],与一名镇区理事选举同时举行,不过在来年4月1日才开始四年任期。若财务官或理事职位有空缺,将由剩余理事填补。

Beavercreek Township is in close proximity to Antioch College, Cedarville University, Central State University, University of Dayton, Wilberforce University, and Wright State University.

Beavercreek City School District consists of 1 middle school part of the issue on November 4, 2008, where Beavercreek residents passed a $84 million bond issue that will be used to build an elementary and middle school and renovate buildings district-wide.[7]
