Darby Township is one of the fourteen townships of Madison County, 俄亥俄州, 美国. The 2000 census found 2,872 people in the township, 935 of whom lived in the unincorporated portions of the township.[3]

Located in the northeastern corner of the county, 与以下镇区接壤：
- Darby Township, Union County - 北
- Jerome Township, Union County - 北east
- Washington Township, Franklin County - 东
- Canaan Township - 南
- Monroe Township - 南west
- Pike Township - 西
Part of the village of Plain City is located in northeastern Darby Township.
Name and history[编辑]
As of 1854, the population of the township was 551,[4] 1,504 in 1890, 1,558 in 1900, and 1,414 in 1910.[5] Statewide, other Darby Townships are located in Pickaway and Union counties.
政府[编辑]
镇区有3人组成的理事会管理。理事会理事选举在奇数年11月举行，并在来年1月1日开始四年任期。两名理事的选举在总统选举后一年举行，另一名的选举在总统选举前一年举行。镇区财务官亦由选举产生[6]，与一名镇区理事选举同时举行，不过在来年4月1日才开始四年任期。若财务官或理事职位有空缺，将由剩余理事填补。
