Fairfield Township is one of the eighteen townships of Columbiana County, 俄亥俄州, 美国. The 2010 census reported 9,890 people living in the township,[3] 4,101 of whom lived in the unincorporated portions of the township.[4]

Located in the northeastern part of the county, 与以下镇区接壤:
- Beaver Township, Mahoning County - 北
- Springfield Township, Mahoning County - 北east corner
- Unity Township - 东
- Middleton Township - 东南 corner
- Elkrun Township - 南
- Center Township - 南west corner
- Salem Township - 西
- Green Township, Mahoning County - 北west corner
Most of the city of Columbiana is located in northern Fairfield Township, and a small part of the village of Leetonia is located in the township's northwest.
Name[编辑]
It is one of seven Fairfield Townships statewide.[5]
History[编辑]
The township was organized in 1806.[6] The first permanent settler was known to be Mathias Lower who emigrated from Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania in 1800.[7]
政府[编辑]
镇区有3人组成的理事会管理。理事会理事选举在奇数年11月举行,并在来年1月1日开始四年任期。两名理事的选举在总统选举后一年举行,另一名的选举在总统选举前一年举行。镇区财务官亦由选举产生[8],与一名镇区理事选举同时举行,不过在来年4月1日才开始四年任期。若财务官或理事职位有空缺,将由剩余理事填补。
