Granville Township is one of the twenty-five townships of Licking County, 俄亥俄州, 美国. The 2000 census found 8,994 people in the township, 5,827 of whom lived in the unincorporated portions of the township.[3]

Located in the center of the county, it borders the following townships and city:
- McKean Township - 北
- Newton Township - 北east
- Newark Township - 东
- Newark - 东南
- Union Township - 南
- Harrison Township - 南west corner
- St. Albans Township - 西
- Liberty Township - 北west corner
Several populated places are located in Granville Township:
- Part of the city of Newark, the county seat of Licking County, in the southeast
- The village of Granville, in the east and center
- The census-designated place of Granville South, in the southwest
Name and history[编辑]
Granville Township is named after Granville, Massachusetts.[4] Statewide, the only other Granville Township is located in Mercer County.
政府[编辑]
镇区有3人组成的理事会管理。理事会理事选举在奇数年11月举行,并在来年1月1日开始四年任期。两名理事的选举在总统选举后一年举行,另一名的选举在总统选举前一年举行。镇区财务官亦由选举产生[5],与一名镇区理事选举同时举行,不过在来年4月1日才开始四年任期。若财务官或理事职位有空缺,将由剩余理事填补。
