Green Township is one of the fourteen townships of Mahoning County, 俄亥俄州, 美国. The 2010 census found 3,532 people in the township.[3]

[编辑]Located in the southern part of the county, 与以下镇区接壤：
- Canfield Township - 北east
- Beaver Township - 东
- Fairfield Township, Columbiana County - 东南 corner
- Salem Township, Columbiana County - 南
- Perry Township, Columbiana County - 南west
- Goshen Township - 西
- Ellsworth Township - 北west
Part of the village of Washingtonville is located in southeastern Green Township, and the unincorporated community of Greenford lies at the center of the township.
Name and history
[编辑]Green Township was established in 1806.[4] For many years, the township was part of Columbiana County, before becoming part of Mahoning County in 1846.[5]
It is one of sixteen Green Townships statewide.[6]
政府
[编辑]镇区有3人组成的理事会管理。理事会理事选举在奇数年11月举行，并在来年1月1日开始四年任期。两名理事的选举在总统选举后一年举行，另一名的选举在总统选举前一年举行。镇区财务官亦由选举产生[7]，与一名镇区理事选举同时举行，不过在来年4月1日才开始四年任期。若财务官或理事职位有空缺，将由剩余理事填补。
