Highland Township is one of the twelve townships of Defiance County, 俄亥俄州, 美国. The 2000 census found 2,658 people in the township.[3]

Located in the southeastern corner of the county, 与以下镇区接壤：
- Richland Township - 北
- Flatrock Township, Henry County - 北east corner
- Pleasant Township, Henry County - 东
- Palmer Township, Putnam County - 东南 corner
- Monroe Township, Putnam County - 南
- Brown Township, Paulding County - 南west corner
- Auglaize Township, Paulding County - 西
- Defiance Township - 北west
No municipalities are located in Highland Township.
Name and history[编辑]
Statewide, the only other Highland Township is located in Muskingum County.
政府[编辑]
镇区有3人组成的理事会管理。理事会理事选举在奇数年11月举行，并在来年1月1日开始四年任期。两名理事的选举在总统选举后一年举行，另一名的选举在总统选举前一年举行。镇区财务官亦由选举产生[4]，与一名镇区理事选举同时举行，不过在来年4月1日才开始四年任期。若财务官或理事职位有空缺，将由剩余理事填补。
Transportation[编辑]
Two significant highways in Highland Township are State Route 15, which travels from north to south through the western half of the township; and State Route 18, which travels from east to west on the eastern part of the township's border with Richland Township to the north.[5]
