Madison Township is one of the nineteen townships of Guernsey County, 俄亥俄州, 美国. The 2000 census found 855 people in the township.[3]

Located in the northeastern part of the county, 与以下镇区接壤:
- Washington Township - 北
- Londonderry Township - 北east
- Oxford Township - 东南
- Wills Township - 南
- Jefferson Township - 西
- Monroe Township - 北west corner
No municipalities are located in Madison Township.
Antrim, is an unincorporated hamlet in the township at the junction of US 22 and SR 513[4] and was the site of several former schools.[5]
Name and history[编辑]
It is one of twenty Madison Townships statewide.[6]
A school named Madison College operated from 1835 through 1859.[7][8]
政府[编辑]
镇区有3人组成的理事会管理。理事会理事选举在奇数年11月举行,并在来年1月1日开始四年任期。两名理事的选举在总统选举后一年举行,另一名的选举在总统选举前一年举行。镇区财务官亦由选举产生[9],与一名镇区理事选举同时举行,不过在来年4月1日才开始四年任期。若财务官或理事职位有空缺,将由剩余理事填补。
