Mifflin Township is one of the eighteen townships of Richland County, 俄亥俄州, 美国. It is a part of the Mansfield Metropolitan Statistical Area. The 2000 census found 6,218 people in the township.[3]

[编辑]Located in the eastern part of the county, 与以下镇区接壤：
- Weller Township - 北
- Milton Township, Ashland County - 北east corner
- Mifflin Township, Ashland County - 东
- Monroe Township - 南
- Washington Township - 南west corner
- Madison Township - 西
No municipalities are located in Mifflin Township.
Name and history
[编辑]Statewide, other Mifflin Townships are located in Ashland, Franklin, Pike, and Wyandot counties.
政府
[编辑]镇区有3人组成的理事会管理。理事会理事选举在奇数年11月举行，并在来年1月1日开始四年任期。两名理事的选举在总统选举后一年举行，另一名的选举在总统选举前一年举行。镇区财务官亦由选举产生[4]，与一名镇区理事选举同时举行，不过在来年4月1日才开始四年任期。若财务官或理事职位有空缺，将由剩余理事填补。

[编辑]Law enforcement in Mifflin Township is the responsibility of the Richland County Sheriff's Office,[5] and fire protection and ambulance services are provided by the Mifflin Township Fire Department[6]
