Monroe Township is one of the twenty townships of Darke County, 俄亥俄州, 美国. The 2000 census found 1,674 people in the township, 1,282 of whom lived in the unincorporated portions of the township.[3]

Located in the southeastern corner of the county, 与以下镇区接壤：
- Franklin Township - 北
- Newton Township, Miami County - 北east
- Union Township, Miami County - 东
- Clay Township, Montgomery County - 东南
- Harrison Township, Preble County - 南west
- Twin Township - 西
- Van Buren Township - 北west corner
The village of Pitsburg is located in northwestern Monroe Township.
Name and history[编辑]
It is one of twenty-two Monroe Townships statewide.[4]
Monroe Township was established in 1836 from land given by Twin Township.[5]
政府[编辑]
镇区有3人组成的理事会管理。理事会理事选举在奇数年11月举行，并在来年1月1日开始四年任期。两名理事的选举在总统选举后一年举行，另一名的选举在总统选举前一年举行。镇区财务官亦由选举产生[6]，与一名镇区理事选举同时举行，不过在来年4月1日才开始四年任期。若财务官或理事职位有空缺，将由剩余理事填补。 The current trustees are Rick Oswalt, Kevin McKibben, and Scott Sease, and the clerk is Dawn Oswalt.[7]
