Montville Township is one of the sixteen townships of Geauga County, 俄亥俄州, 美国. The 2000 census found 1,984 people in the township.[3]

- Trumbull Township, Ashtabula County - 北east corner
- Hartsgrove Township, Ashtabula County - 东

- LeRoy Township, Lake County - 北west corner
No municipalities are located in Montville Township, although the unincorporated community of Montville lies at the center of the township.
The Cuyahoga River begins in Montville Township.
Name and history
[编辑]Statewide, the only other Montville Township is located in Medina County.
The township includes a house that was once a stop on the Underground Railroad. The house still stands on the southeast corner of the intersection of U.S. Route 6 and State Route 528.[來源請求]
政府
[编辑]镇区有3人组成的理事会管理。理事会理事选举在奇数年11月举行，并在来年1月1日开始四年任期。两名理事的选举在总统选举后一年举行，另一名的选举在总统选举前一年举行。镇区财务官亦由选举产生[4]，与一名镇区理事选举同时举行，不过在来年4月1日才开始四年任期。若财务官或理事职位有空缺，将由剩余理事填补。
