Rush Township is one of the twelve townships of Champaign County, 俄亥俄州, United States. The 2010 census reported 2,613 people living in the township,[3] 818 of whom were in the unincorporated portions of the township.[4]
地理
[编辑]Located in the northeastern corner of the county, 与以下镇区接壤：
- Allen Township, Union County - 北east
- Union Township, Union County - 东
- Goshen Township - 南
- Union Township - 南west corner
- Wayne Township - 西
- Zane Township, Logan County - 北west
Two villages are located in Rush Township: North Lewisburg in the northwest, and Woodstock in the east.
Name and history
[编辑]Statewide, other Rush Townships are located in Scioto and Tuscarawas counties.
Rush Township was established in 1828 from land given by Wayne Township.[5]
政府
[编辑]镇区有3人组成的理事会管理。理事会理事选举在奇数年11月举行，并在来年1月1日开始四年任期。两名理事的选举在总统选举后一年举行，另一名的选举在总统选举前一年举行。镇区财务官亦由选举产生[6]，与一名镇区理事选举同时举行，不过在来年4月1日才开始四年任期。若财务官或理事职位有空缺，将由剩余理事填补。
