Vernon Township is one of the thirteen townships of Clinton County, 俄亥俄州, 美国. The 2010 census reported 2,997 people living in the township,[3] 2,449 of whom were in the unincorporated portions.
地理
[编辑]Located in the western part of the county, 与以下镇区接壤：
- Adams Township - 北
- Union Township - 北east corner
- Washington Township - 东
- Marion Township - 南
- Harlan Township, Warren County - 南west
- Washington Township, Warren County - 西
The entire township lies in the Virginia Military District.
Cowan Lake State Park is located partially in Vernon Township.
The village of Clarksville is located in western Vernon Township.
Transportation
[编辑]Major highways include State Routes 132, 133, 350, and 730, and the 3C Highway.
Name and history
[编辑]Vernon Township was organized in 1810.[4]
Statewide, other Vernon Townships are located in Crawford and Trumbull counties.
政府
