Whetstone Township is one of the sixteen townships of Crawford County, 俄亥俄州, 美国. As of the 2010 census the population was 2,080,[3] 1,936 of whom lived in the unincorporated portion of the township.[4]

Located in the southern part of the county, 与以下镇区接壤：

- Jefferson Township - 东
- Polk Township - 东南, north of Washington Township
- Washington Township, Morrow County - 东南, south of Polk Township
- Tully Township, Marion County - 南
- Scott Township, Marion County - 南west corner
- Dallas Township - 西, south of Bucyrus Township
- Bucyrus Township - 西, north of Dallas Township
- Holmes Township - 北west corner
Two municipalities are located in Whetstone Township: part of the village of North Robinson in the northeast, and part of the city of Bucyrus, the county seat of Crawford County, in the northwest. The unincorporated community of New Winchester is located in the township's south.
Name and history[编辑]
Whetstone Township was formed in the 1820s. It was named from Whetstone Creek.[5]
It is the only Whetstone Township statewide.[6]
政府[编辑]
镇区有3人组成的理事会管理。理事会理事选举在奇数年11月举行，并在来年1月1日开始四年任期。两名理事的选举在总统选举后一年举行，另一名的选举在总统选举前一年举行。镇区财务官亦由选举产生[7]，与一名镇区理事选举同时举行，不过在来年4月1日才开始四年任期。若财务官或理事职位有空缺，将由剩余理事填补。
