Early experiences

Zhang Chang was born in Xi'an, Shanxi Province, when she was in elementary and junior high school, she published her many articles in the "China Youth Daily", "Family Education" and other magazines and "Qianjiang Evening News", "Southern Weekend" and other newspapers, and the first article draft fee she received is only 30 yuan.

In 2010, she was the assistant director, editor and subtitle translator of the love movie "Under the Hawthorn Tree" .

In 2011, she acted as assistant director, editor and subtitleist in the war movie "The 13th Warrior of Jinling" adapted from the novel of the same name by Yan Geling. In addition, she was in charge of the movie " The Flowers Of War" And acting as an translator and personal assistant to Christian Bell.In the same year, the film "Hawthorn Love" won the "Hua Biao" Outstanding Feature Film Award.

At the end of August, In order to persuade her daughter to "change his mind," Zhang Yimou deliberately followed his daughter to the United States and asked Tovey to break up with her daughter. In January 2004, Zhang Mo and Toveh flew directly from the United States to Ukraine. In order to get close to Zhang Yimou, Tovey stays in the crew every day. At that time, the temperature in Ukraine was below 20 degrees Celsius, and Tovey bought a thick cotton coat to protect Zhang Yimou. This detail made Zhang Yimou feel a little touched. Then, after Zhang Yimou was hospitalized with high fever, Tovey and Zhang had stayed with Zhang Yimou from morning till night. The feelings of the three men gradually deepened.In 2006，Zhang Wei and Tovey were married in Los Angeles. Zhang Yimou also became the progenitor of this marriage . Unfortunately, not long after the marriage, Tovey cheated on Zhang Mo, but also conducted domestic violence against Zhang Mo, in 2008, the two divorced.
