二氧化碳移除( CDR )，也稱為負碳排，是一種將二氧化碳氣體 ( CO₂ ）從大氣中移除並永久儲存於地質、陸地、海洋或產品中的一道過程。 ^[1] ^:2221相似的，温室氣體移除( GGR ) 或温室氣體負排放是指在自然碳循環或大氣化學過程以外，再以人類活動蓄意地從大氣中移除温室氣體(GHG)。 ^[2] ^:2240在温室氣體淨零排放背景下， ^[3] CDR逐漸被融入在氣候政策中，作為一種新的緩解氣候變遷之道。 ^[1]
