詹姆士·愛德華·奧格爾索普（英語：James Edward Oglethorpe，1696年12月22日—1785年6月30日），英國陸軍上將[1]、英國國會議員、慈善家，同時也是殖民地喬治亞省創始人。作為社會改革者，他希望在新世界重新安置仍然可以貢獻的英國窮人，最初著重於負債人監獄的設置[2]。
