詹姆斯·惠尔（英语：James Whale，1889年7月22日—1957年5月29日）是一名英国电影导演、戏剧导演和男演员，他职业生涯的大部分时间都在好莱坞度过。他主要以拍摄恐怖电影而知名，包括 《科学怪人》（1931年）、《老黑屋》（1932年）、《隐形人》（1933年）和《科学怪人的新娘》（1935年）都被视为经典之作。惠尔还导演了其他类型的电影，包括1936年电影版的音乐剧《画航璇宫》。
