2021年马拉地震，震级为里氏6.0级、矩震级5.9级，于当地时间2021年6月22日晚上9时54分18秒（UTC-5）发生，震中位于秘鲁利马省马拉近岸[2][7]。主震发生后，还发生超过15次余震，其中最强烈的是当地时间6月23日上午7时03分发生的4.8级余震。
最初，地震震级为里氏5.8级，秘鲁地球物理研究所（Instituto Geofísico del Perú，IGP）修正为6.0级。利马的震感强烈，利马都会区和卡涅特省也受地震影响。在地震发生一天后证实，一名六岁男童因心肺停止而死亡[5]。
构造背景[编辑]
秘鲁位于纳斯卡板块沿着秘鲁-智利海沟线隐没到南美洲板块下方的破坏性板块边缘之上[2]。两块板块以每年约78毫米或3英寸的速度向彼此汇聚[8]。
破坏[编辑]
利马和卡涅特省的一些街道因房屋发生山体滑坡而关闭，其中科斯塔维德因一场山体滑坡而关闭[9]。因应这次地震，秘鲁地球物理研究所计划于2021年6月29日上午10时正（UTC-5）进行地震演习[10]。
据报豪尔赫·查韦斯国际机场和维阿广场超市的天花板受到一些破坏，货架上的物品掉落[11][12]。据报在科斯塔维德发生岩石滑坡[13]。
