描述Projected effect of climate change on agricultural productivity for different regions (Cline, 2007).png
English: This graph shows the projected effect of climate change on agricultural productivity for different regions. The graph shows changes in productivity (%) with and without the potential benefits of increased carbon fertilization (CF), see en:Ocean fertilization. The projection is for the time period 2070 to 2099 (the 2080s), and assumes that no efforts are made to reduce humangreenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. In the year 2085, the scenario projects atmospheric carbon dioxide (CO2) concentration of 735 parts per million. Global warming of 3 °C (compared to pre-industrial times) is projected in the 2080s, with 5 °C average warming over land areas and 4.4 °C by farm area.
The projection suggests that climate change will reduce global agricultural productivity. The largest reductions are projected in developing countries. A table of the graph data is included in a later section.
