混成词（英语：Portmanteau）是英语中，由两个或以上词语或词语的一部分混合而成的词语或词素，使之意义混合。A folk usage of portmanteau refers to a word that is formed by combining both sounds and meanings from two or more words （例如 ，“animatronics”（电子动画技术）源自“animation”(动画)和“electronics”(电子)）. 混成词一般是新词. One of the most well-known examples is cyborg（生化人）, a term which is commonly used to refer to a cybernetic organism生物.
