摩洛哥的一夫多妻制
一夫多妻制在摩洛哥是合法的[1] ，但由於政府在2004年發布了相關限制而變得少見，它只授權通過財務認證的丈夫迎娶第二個妻子的權利[2] 。此外，丈夫在迎娶前必須得到現任妻子的書面許可 。如果未能遵守該規定，並在未獲得現任妻子許可的情況下結婚，丈夫會遭到逮捕。

Legally, no man may take a second wife without the permission of the first wife, as well as making a case to a judge that he is financially able to support both wives, and their children equally, and that his circumstances are exceptional.
