1992年，在葡萄牙承認阿塞拜疆獨立後，阿塞拜疆和葡萄牙建立了外交關係。
概述[編輯]
1992年1月7日，葡萄牙承認阿塞拜疆脫離蘇聯獨立。1992年8月4日，阿塞拜疆和葡萄牙建立外交關係。[1]
阿塞拜疆總統伊利哈姆·阿利耶夫於2012年12月21日簽署了總統令，委任阿塞拜疆駐摩洛哥大使塔里克·阿利耶夫兼任駐葡萄牙大使。阿利耶夫於2013年1月14日向葡萄牙總統席爾瓦遞交了國書。[2]另一方面，葡萄牙駐土耳其大使同時擔任駐阿塞拜疆大使。葆拉·萊亞爾·達·席爾瓦是現任葡萄牙駐阿塞拜疆大使，她的國書於2017年3月26日被阿塞拜疆總統伊利哈姆·阿利耶夫接受。[3]
2015年，葡萄牙駐阿塞拜疆外交使團開始運作。[4]臨時代辦是豪爾赫·加布里埃爾·席爾瓦·達·豐塞卡。[5]目前葡萄牙對亞塞拜然的事務由駐土耳其大使館兼轄。
2011年9月，穆拉德·拉希莫夫被任命為葡萄牙駐阿塞拜疆名譽領事。[2][6]
高層互訪[編輯]
1996年12月2日至3日，阿塞拜疆前總統蓋達爾·阿利耶夫訪問葡萄牙，出席歐洲安全與合作組織里斯本峰會。[1]訪問期間，阿利耶夫會見了葡萄牙總理古特雷斯。[2]葡萄牙前外交部長傑米·伽馬於2001年7月和2002年3月訪問阿塞拜疆;路易斯·阿馬多於2010年7月訪問了阿塞拜疆。[1]2010年11月20日至21日，阿塞拜疆總統伊利哈姆·阿利耶夫訪問葡萄牙，出席北約里斯本峰會。[1]在阿塞拜疆代表訪問期間，葡萄牙和阿塞拜疆簽署了關於對持有外交護照的人免簽的協定。2012年6月，葡萄牙國務和外交部長保羅·波爾塔斯對阿塞拜疆進行了正式訪問。[2]
兩國議會之間的關係[編輯]
兩國議會間的合作是由阿塞拜疆-葡萄牙議會間關係工作組在阿塞拜疆進行的。阿塞拜疆國民議會於2000年12月5日設立了阿塞拜疆-葡萄牙議會關係工作組。[7]根據2016年3月4日阿塞拜疆國民議會的決定，阿塞拜疆-葡萄牙議會關係工作組組長為阿吉亞·納赫齊凡利。[8]
經濟關係[編輯]
2017年1月至9月，阿塞拜疆和葡萄牙的雙邊商品貿易總額為3.52億6200萬美元，而阿塞拜疆的進口額為733萬美元，出口額為3.45億2900萬美元。同期(2017年1 - 9月)，葡萄牙占阿塞拜疆外貿營業額的比重為2.46%，其中進口占0.12%，出口占4.24%。[9]阿塞拜疆-葡萄牙商業論壇於2012年6月在阿塞拜疆經濟發展部支持下，由阿塞拜疆出口與投資促進基金會組織在巴庫舉辦。[2]
