Pee Pee Township is one of the fourteen townships of Pike County, 俄亥俄州, 美國. The 2000 census found 7,776 people in the township, including 4,433 people in the village of Waverly, and 3,343 in the unincorporated portions of the township.[3]
地理
[編輯]Located in the northern part of the county, 與以下鎮區接壤：

- Jackson Township – east
- Newton Township – southeast
- Pebble Township – southwest
- Seal Township – west
- Huntington Township, Ross County – northwest
The village of Waverly, the county seat of Pike County, is located in eastern Pee Pee Township.
The 429-英畝（1.74-平方公里） Lake White State Park is also located in this township.
Pee Pee Township is 32.4平方英里（84平方公里） in size, including 0.69平方英里（1.8平方公里） of water and 3.92平方英里（10.2平方公里） within the village limits of Waverly.
History
[編輯]Pee Pee Township took its name from Pee Pee Creek; which was so named when an early settler inscribed his initials P. P. on a tree along its banks.[4] The township was organized in 1798 as the first township in Pike County.[5] It is the only Pee Pee Township statewide.[6]
政府
[編輯]鎮區有3人組成的理事會管理。理事會理事選舉在奇數年11月舉行，並在來年1月1日開始四年任期。兩名理事的選舉在總統選舉後一年舉行，另一名的選舉在總統選舉前一年舉行。鎮區財務官亦由選舉產生[7]，與一名鎮區理事選舉同時舉行，不過在來年4月1日才開始四年任期。若財務官或理事職位有空缺，將由剩餘理事填補。
