基斯托弗·德韋恩·湯姆林（英語：Christopher Dwayne Tomlin，1972年5月4日—），出生於美國德克薩斯州Grand Saline，是一名當代基督教音樂流派的歌手。他曾是奧斯丁Stone Community Church的一名工作人員，主持過許多基督教禮拜活動。他知名的歌曲有How Great Is Our God、Jesus Messiah和Amazing Grace等。他曾獲得2006年、2007年、2008年的聖鴿獎（GMA Dove Awards）最佳男歌手的稱號。現在他在佐治亞州亞特蘭大的Passion City Church擔任領銜禮拜者。
早年生活[編輯]
基斯·湯姆林1972年出生於德克薩斯州的Grand Saline。他有兩個個弟弟，萊恩(Ryan)和科里(Cory)。他11歲曾感染傳染性單核白血球增多症[1]。之後他從他父親那裏得到了他的第一把結他。14歲時譜寫了他的第一首基督教音樂。進入德克薩斯農工大學後，他本來計劃修讀醫療專業，不過最後他選擇從事基督教音樂事業，因為他聲稱「他感到了上帝在感召他去做另一些事」。
在20世紀90年代中期，他成為了Dawson McAllister Youth Conferences的禮拜領袖，同時也在德克薩斯州的許多教堂的夏令營里工作。
在進入泰勒學校（Tyler Junior College）和德克薩斯農工大學以後，他繼續演奏並寫作歌曲。在1997年，青年演講家Louie Giglio詢問他是否對在Passion Conferences工作有興趣，他同意並在該組織扮演了關鍵角色。
歌手生涯[編輯]
2001年，基斯·湯姆林第一次在全國範圍發行了名為《我們製造的噪音》（英語：The Noise We Make）的個人專輯，裡面包含Forever、Be Glorified、Kindness三首歌曲。這三首歌全部進入了2005年國際基督教版權協議Top 200和Top 500禮拜音樂名列[2]。他還在2002年發佈了名為545的現場版EP和工作室版Not to Us。他2004年的專輯Arriving被認為是他具有突破性的一張專輯，包含熱門的Indescribalble、Holy Is the Lord、How Great Is Our God和The Way I Was Made等。根據國際基督教版權協議的統計，該張專輯包含的另外兩首歌On Our Side和Mighty is the Powr of the Cross進入了2005年Top 500禮拜音樂的行列[2]。專輯Arriving被美國唱片業協會（Recording Industry Association of America）認證為「鉑金」（platinum）級別。

湯姆林還出席了許多論壇和音樂界的活動。其中，他曾在Grand Saline's annual Salt Festival[5]、澳大利亞Hillsong教堂2007年會議和2008年的Compassionart International Songwriting retreat中演唱。在其中的最後一個活動中，湯姆林把收入捐獻給慈善機構用於幫助貧困人口。2009年，他還在洛杉磯安那罕天使舉行的Harvest Crusade活動中登場演出。

雖然是一名獨唱歌手，他還是和一個基本保持不變的樂隊一起巡迴演出。他和樂隊其他人共同創作音樂。他在樂隊中擔任主唱、結他手和鋼琴手。上世紀九十年代，湯姆林和這支樂隊在德克薩斯州的The Woodlands United Methodist Church的經歷中不斷成長。

2006年末，湯姆林建立了一個叫做「Frequency Worship」的在線音樂資源網站[2]，並把它描述為「一個崇拜上帝和服務信仰者的地方」。[7]，網站內包含有他的一些歌曲和一些講道視頻。
歌曲被選作穿梭機鬧鐘鈴聲[編輯]
2007年6月14日，湯姆林的歌曲Indescribable被用作阿特蘭蒂斯號穿梭機STS-117任務中的官方鬧鐘鈴聲。[8][9]
新建教堂[編輯]
2008年，湯姆林和他的樂隊離開奧斯丁Stone Community Church，在亞特蘭大與Louie Giglio新建了一所教堂。[10][11]
