後黃長喙天蛾（學名：Macroglossum stellatarum）是天蛾科的一個物種。獨特而強壯的小天蛾有灰褐色前翅，其上飾有黑色紋線，兩性相似。它的長喙和懸停行為，伴隨着聽得到的嗡嗡聲，使它在吸食花蜜時非常像蜂鳥。這種與蜂鳥的相似性是趨同演化的一個例子。幼蟲綠色或褐色，尾上有藍色角；以拉拉藤屬、茜草屬為食。分佈：原生於南歐和北非，並跨越亞洲至日本。它們在白天飛行，尤其是在明亮的日光下，[1]不過也在黃昏、清晨甚至雨中行動，這在日行性的天蛾中不常見。[2]它們的視覺能力被深入研究，目前已經證明它們具有相當強的色彩學習能力。[3]
