接口消息處理機

接口信息處理器（Interface Message Processor，IMP）是20世紀60年代末至1989年間與ARPANET互連的網絡的分組交換節點^[1]^[2]^[3]。它是第一代網關，是現今路由器的前身。接口消息處理機是一台霍尼韋爾DDP-516小型計算機，它帶有特殊用途的接口和軟件^[4]。
