米歇爾·雷納爾
米歇爾·雷納爾[1] (生於1949年)，法國計算機科學家、活躍在分佈式計算領域。 他的主要貢獻集中在設計分佈式算法、容錯的分佈式計算系統(主要專注於協商一致 問題)，和並發可計算性。 他自1984年起擔任雷恩大學(法國)教授。 他與他人共同完成了許多分佈式計算方向的研究論文[2] ，並參與多達12本研究書籍的撰寫。[3][4][5][6] 自2013年以來，米歇爾·雷納爾在香港理工大學擔任客座教授。[7]
在他擔任法國國家信息與自動化研究所(INRIA), IRISA, 雷恩大學名譽教授期間，曾組織了交流論壇[8] ，並吸引了眾多演講者，包括圖靈獎 獲得者(萊斯利*蘭波特)和 Dijkstra獎獲得者者(萊斯利·蘭波特, 莫里斯·赫萊希, 約拉姆摩西).
