開手式擊鼓
開手式擊鼓是一種演奏鼓組的方法，主要在爵士樂和金屬音樂中使用。
方法
[編輯]該方法是指在同時演奏腳踏鈸（或疊音鈸）和軍鼓時不會以傳統的方式演奏，即是以交叉雙手為演奏鼓的基本姿勢。[1] 絕對的初學者經常選擇這種演奏方式（開手式擊鼓），作為他們第一次和自然的擊鼓嘗試。
許多鼓手嘗試後認為使用開手式擊鼓時的姿勢讓他們感到舒適，但他們不會總是使用這種擊鼓方法。史蒂夫史密斯(Steve Smith)和迪恩卡斯特羅諾沃(Deen Castronovo)曾經為歌曲「 Don't Stop Believin 」使用開手式擊鼓。
許多使用這種風格的鼓手會將他們的疊音鈸放在他們的腳踏鈸之上，以便更快地過渡到兩者的固定音型。
開源和發展
[編輯]在Jim Chapin的書Advanced Techniques for the Modern Drummer[2]和加里·切斯特的著作The New Breed[3]中，首次提出了開手式擊鼓。例如在加里·切斯特的The New Breed中，內容強調雙手和雙腿的獨立協調，開手式擊鼓正正滿足要求。
開始開手式擊鼓的第一批鼓手，像Billy Cobham，Lenny White和丹尼斯·威爾森這樣的音樂家，他們在20世紀60年代和70年代早期，是因為出於本能（比如丹尼斯·威爾森，他是天生的左撇子）而使用開手式擊鼓，因此感覺可以更舒服去控制雙手；或者出於實驗性質，找到了不必複雜地交叉雙手演奏腳踏鈸的優點。該技術的許多支持者還指出，使用開手式擊鼓能夠免去另一個手臂交叉形成的的阻礙，在擊打小軍鼓時右手可以獲得更大範圍的移動，這意味着鼓手更容易響亮地擊打軍鼓的邊框。其他人也指出，在演奏時，例如在腳踏鈸和疊音鈸的過渡之間，因為一隻手不必完全抬起和越過另一隻手，從而保存了力氣。結果，許多獨特的鼓手都採用了這種技術。另一個優點是鼓手在演奏腳踏鈸時可以同時演奏立地鼓，是經典的擊鼓技術無法做到的。
開手式擊鼓的專門教材在近年首次出現，例如是在2008年和2011年，分別由Dom Famularo和Claus Hessler撰寫的Open Handed Playing vol.1和2便是完全專門教授開手式擊鼓的教材。
