雅尼·赫里索馬利斯（希臘語：Γιάννης Χρυσομάλλης^[6]，藝名：Yanni，英語：Yiannis Chrysomallis，1954年11月14日—），生於希臘卡拉馬塔，成年後在美國生活，全球聞名的作曲家和演奏家，兩度被格林美獎提名。

雅尼通常被稱作新世紀音樂家，但在他的自傳里，他更傾向於稱自己的音樂為現代器樂（Contemporary Instrumental）。

早年生活[編輯]

雅尼出生在一個很普通的希臘家庭，六歲的時候他開始彈鋼琴，他的父母鼓勵他按照自己的方式學習音樂，而非接受正規的音樂培訓。童年的雅尼總是試圖為電影配曲，他不在意電影的故事情節，而是用腦子記下電影的配曲，回家後再用鋼琴把它們彈出來，並逐步豐富旋律，他會給這些曲子取名為新音樂，因為他總是不斷的給每個曲子加進更好的效果做出更好的改善。如今他仍使用童年時的音樂速記法^[7]^[8]。14歲那年，他打破了希臘國家男子50米自由泳記錄^[3]^[9]。1972年，在其父母的鼓勵下，雅尼離開了希臘，奔赴美國開始了他新的生活。雅尼最初的理想是成為一名臨床心理學家，在他18歲那年，他被明尼蘇達大學錄取，正式移居美國並主修心理學，大學的幾年裏，他開始運用電子合成器和鋼琴來做出新的音樂效果。畢業後雅尼最終還是選擇了他鍾愛的音樂事業。1977年，他加入了一支名為「Chameleon」的搖滾樂隊，並在一些夜總會進行演出。

音樂生涯[編輯]

20世紀80年代：初出茅廬[編輯]

20世紀90年代：雅尼雅典衛城現場音樂會、退出樂壇、休整[編輯]

1993年，雅尼在希臘雅典衛城舉辦了舉世矚目的音樂會—雅尼雅典衛城現場音樂會，由倫敦交響樂團參與管弦樂的演奏，並和雅尼自己的樂隊向世人獻出了精彩的表演，從此一舉成名。此次音樂會的VCD及專輯隨後十年裏銷遍全球，成為歷史上最經典的實況表演專輯之一，並奠定了雅尼在世界音樂的地位。其中《Santorini》、《Until the Last Moment》、《Keys to Imagination》、《Reflections of Passion》等曲目成為世界名曲，《Santorini》一曲亦在最近數年間，先後被台灣年代新聞台、香港電台電視部及北京電視臺分別當作《年代全球報導》、《五稜鏡》及《北京特快》的開場音樂使用。除此以外，無綫電視也選用《Dare to Dream》中的《Once Upon A Time》一曲，作為《無綫電視天氣報告》內「世界各大城市天氣」環節的背景音樂，直到2009年尾因該台與各大唱片商發生紛爭而被換走，而香港多間電視台均有插入其音樂作為背景音樂。雅尼旋律創作的天分被世人矚目。1998年，雅尼和琳達（頁面存檔備份，存於互聯網檔案館）分手，並且在同年完成他的環球巡演之後，他暫停了他的音樂事業。後來雅尼表示他當時感到越來越沮喪、疲憊，便回到希臘的家鄉。兩年間，他一直拒絕媒體的採訪，後來他解釋道：「我四處遊覽，我想看到不同的人對待生活的看法，我不想深陷在美國夢之中。」

21世紀開始：休整之後，全新的面貌[編輯]

經歷了兩年的休息，雅尼在2000年的時候發行了《If I Could Tell You》這張七年來第一張音樂室專輯。該專輯在發行第一周便售出了55000張。
