Paradox
它最初由Ansa Software於1985年在MS-DOS上發佈[1]。1987年9月，Ansa Software以及Paradox被Borland收購並由Borland負責更新[2]。1991年年中，Borland開始收購Ashton-Tate及其競爭對手的dBase產品線。[3] Borland計劃於1992年發佈Paradox的Windows版本，但一直推遲到1993年1月才發佈，而那時微軟的Microsoft Access已經上市[4]。
Corel在1990年代中期獲得了開發和銷售Paradox的權利，並於1997年發佈了Corel Paradox 8[5]。Paradox最後一次更新是在2009年。[6]
