Etna Township is one of the twenty-five townships of Licking County, 俄亥俄州, 美國. The 2010 census found 16,373 people in the township, 8,311 of whom lived in the unincorporated portions of the township.[4]
地理[編輯]
Located in the southwestern corner of the county, it borders the following townships and city:
- Pataskala - 北
- Harrison Township - 北east
- Liberty Township, Fairfield County - 東南
- Violet Township, Fairfield County - 南west
- Truro Township, Franklin County - 西
- Jefferson Township, Franklin County - 北west corner
Part of the city of Reynoldsburg occupies the western end of Etna Township, part of the village of Kirkersville occupies the eastern end, and the unincorporated community of Etna lies in the central part of the township.
Name and history[編輯]
It is the only Etna Township statewide.[5]
Two Native American mounds, known as the "Etna Township Mounds", are located within the township.[6] Etna Township is located entirely within the Refugee Tract.
政府[編輯]
鎮區有3人組成的理事會管理。理事會理事選舉在奇數年11月舉行,並在來年1月1日開始四年任期。兩名理事的選舉在總統選舉後一年舉行,另一名的選舉在總統選舉前一年舉行。鎮區財務官亦由選舉產生[7],與一名鎮區理事選舉同時舉行,不過在來年4月1日才開始四年任期。若財務官或理事職位有空缺,將由剩餘理事填補。
