Milton Township is one of the fifteen townships of Ashland County, 俄亥俄州, 美國. As of the 2010 census the population was 2,383.[3]

[編輯]Located in the western part of the county, 與以下鎮區接壤：

- Orange Township - 北east corner
- Montgomery Township - 東
- Vermillion Township - 東南 corner
- Mifflin Township - 南
- Mifflin Township, Richland County - 南west corner
- Weller Township, Richland County - 西
- Butler Township, Richland County - 北west corner
The city of Ashland, the county seat of Ashland County, is located adjacent to the eastern border of Milton Township.
Name and history
[編輯]Milton Township was organized in 1816.[4]
It is one of five Milton Townships statewide.[5]
政府
[編輯]鎮區有3人組成的理事會管理。理事會理事選舉在奇數年11月舉行，並在來年1月1日開始四年任期。兩名理事的選舉在總統選舉後一年舉行，另一名的選舉在總統選舉前一年舉行。鎮區財務官亦由選舉產生[6]，與一名鎮區理事選舉同時舉行，不過在來年4月1日才開始四年任期。若財務官或理事職位有空缺，將由剩餘理事填補。
