人工智能物聯網The Artificial Intelligence of Things (AIoT))是指將人工智能 (AI) 技術與物聯網 (IoT) 基礎設施相結合,以達到更高效率,改善人機交互,增強數據管理和分析。[1][2][3]

2018年,KPMG發佈了一篇到2040年的AI未來場景的前瞻英語企业前瞻研究。[4] 分析師在報告中設想了物聯網中每個設備都具備人工智能的場景,這些人工智能可以自主連接到其他人工智能,以實現共同智能地執行任務。將通過群體智能實時地創造價值。
