加拿大南極研究所
加拿大南極研究所（英語：Antarctic Institute of Canada）是由前南極研究員奧斯丁·馬當在1985年成立的一家非盈利的慈善機構[1]。研究所曾經用以遊說加拿大聯邦政府增加在南極的研究；如今它也支持「學術研究和學術寫作」[1]。研究所同時為金色流星出版社出版的書提供研究經費。這些書包括《A Description of the Western Isles of Scotland》[2]與《A Description of the Western Isles of Scotland》[3]。
歷史[編輯]
研究所由奧斯丁·馬當於1985年在阿爾伯塔省萊斯布里奇市成立，現在於埃德蒙頓市運作[4]。自成立以來，研究所增加了多種研究範圍，包括歷史、地理和加拿大政治等[1]。
