高登·愛德華·平森特CC FRSC（英語：Gordon Edward Pinsent，1930年7月12日—2023年2月25日），加拿大演員、作家、導演及歌手，影視代表作包括《妳的樣子》、《浪子（英語：The Rowdyman）》、《正南方》等[1][2]，以及1989年至2015年間《大象巴巴》中的巴巴配音。

早年生活[編輯]

平森特生於紐芬蘭自治領（今加拿大紐芬蘭與拉布拉多省），在六個孩子中排名最小[3]。他的父親最初居住在迪爾多，是一名造紙廠工人及鞋匠，母親則是來自於紐芬蘭自治領的克利夫頓[4]的一名聖公宗教徒，性格較為沉默；他的祖先是來自英國肯特郡和德文郡的移民[5]。平森特自稱小時候非常「笨拙」，並且患有佝僂病[1]。

平森特於17歲時首次登台表演，不久後加入加拿大廣播公司，從參演各種廣播劇開始，逐步進入電影及電視行業。1950年代初，平森特暫停演藝事業前往加拿大陸軍皇家軍團（英語：Royal Canadian Regiment）服兵役，當了大約四年的二等兵[6]。

平森特的演藝生涯開始於1957年，當時他在溫尼伯的77號劇場（今皇家曼尼托巴劇場中心（英語：Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre））跟隨導演約翰·平赫希（英語：John Hirsch）。接下來的幾年中，他在溫尼伯、多倫多、斯特拉特福德戲劇節（英語：Stratford Festival）等地演出了許多戲劇[7]。

1960年代初，平森特出演《Scarlett Hill》和《森林遊俠（英語：The Forest Rangers (TV series)）》，其後開始在《Quentin Durgens, M.P.》、《A Gift to Last》、《The Red Green Show》、《正南方》、《過眼雲煙（英語：Wind at My Back）》、《色誘（英語：Power Play (1998 TV series)）》等影視中扮演主要角色，其中《A Gift to Last》的劇本也是由他所作[1]。

平森特的電影作品包括《浪子》、《童心結（英語：Who Has Seen the Wind (1977 film)）》、《John and the Missus》、《航運新聞（英語：The Shipping News (film)）》、《你的樣子》《Easy Down Easy》、《Brass Rubbings》[8]等，並在《浪子》和《John and the Missus》中身兼編劇。《The Red Green Show》是他最著名的作品之一，以至於該片的另一名演員史蒂夫·史密斯等人經常以他的角色名稱呼他。另外，他還在1970年的科幻電影《巨人：福賓計劃（英語：Colossus: The Forbin Project）》中扮演過美國總統[9][10]。

2008年、2010年及2011年，平森特在加拿大廣播公司第一台（英語：CBC Radio One） 的夏季節目中主持了一檔名為《The Late Show》的節目，該節目是一部紀錄片，發佈一些節目組選出的加拿大重要人物的訃告[14]。

平森特出演過導演斯蒂芬·鄧恩早期用於角逐加拿大廣播電台短片對決的短片《Life Doesn't Frighten Me》，該片為鄧恩贏得3萬加元獎金[15]，後來又在2013年的多倫多學生電影節及翠貝卡電影節奪取若干獎項[16]。

平森特的妻子是女演員夏米翁·金（2007年去世），兩人於1962年結婚，其後生下女兒利亞（英語：Leah Pinsent）[19]。在夏米翁之前，平森特與第一任妻子擁有兩個孩子[20]。

平森特於2023年2月25日腦出血併發症發作，於多倫多的一家醫院內逝世[3][21][2]。

1979年，平森特獲頒加拿大員佐級勳章，其後於1998年進一步升至同伴級。2006年，平森特被加拿大皇家學會錄為院士[22]。2007年，加拿大星光大道（英語：Canada's Walk of Fame）宣佈將收錄平森特[23][24]。

1997年，平森特憑藉對電視行業的長期貢獻，獲得厄爾·格雷獎（英語：Earle Grey Award）[25]。

平森特於1975年獲愛德華王子島大學授予法學博士（英語：Legum Doctor）學位，此外他還擁有女王大學、紐芬蘭紀念大學、湖首大學及溫莎大學的榮譽博士學位[26]。

2004年，平森特獲得加拿大演藝界最高榮譽總督獎[27]。

2005年7月12日平森特75歲生日之際，其家鄉大瀑布-溫莎的文化與藝術中心更名為「高登·平森特藝術中心」[28]。

2008年9月25日，公司劇團（英語：The Company Theatre）在多倫多溫莎阿姆斯酒店（英語：Windsor Arms Hotel）舉辦的一場晚會中宣佈設立高登·平森特優秀獎，並由平森特本人擔任首屆頒獎禮主持人[29]。

2012年，平森特獲得伊利沙伯二世鑽禧紀念章（英語：Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal）[30]。

除上述獎項外，平森特還奪得過五次雙子座獎、三次吉尼獎、兩次加拿大電視與廣播藝人聯合會獎（英語：ACTRA Award）及一次杜拉獎（英語：Dora Mavor Moore Awards）[26]。
