Liberty Township is one of the thirteen townships of Clinton County, 俄亥俄州, 美國. The 2010 census reported 1,067 people living in the township,[3] 813 of whom were in the unincorporated portions.
地理[編輯]
Located in the northern part of the county, 與以下鎮區接壤：
- Jefferson Township, Greene County - 北east
- Wilson Township - 東
- Union Township - 南
- Chester Township - 西
- Caesarscreek Township, Greene County - 北west
It is located in the north central part of the county on the Greene County line about halfway between Wilmington and Xenia.
The entire township lies in the Virginia Military District.
The village of Port William is located in northern Liberty Township.
Transportation[編輯]
Major roads in Liberty Township include Interstate 71, U.S. Route 68, and State Route 134.
Name and history[編輯]
Liberty Township was organized in 1817.[4]
It is one of twenty-five Liberty Townships statewide.[5]
In 1833, Liberty Township contained a flouring mill, two saw mills, a fulling mill, a distillery, and one store.[6]

鎮區有3人組成的理事會管理。理事會理事選舉在奇數年11月舉行，並在來年1月1日開始四年任期。兩名理事的選舉在總統選舉後一年舉行，另一名的選舉在總統選舉前一年舉行。鎮區財務官亦由選舉產生[7]，與一名鎮區理事選舉同時舉行，不過在來年4月1日才開始四年任期。若財務官或理事職位有空缺，將由剩餘理事填補。
