Ward Township is one of the eleven townships of Hocking County, 俄亥俄州, 美國. The 2000 census found 1,937 people in the township, 1,474 of whom lived in the unincorporated portions of the township.[3]

Located in the far eastern part of the county, 與以下鎮區接壤:
- Coal Township, Perry County - 北
- Trimble Township, Athens County - 東
- Dover Township, Athens County - 東南 corner
- York Township, Athens County - 南
- Starr Township - 南west corner
- Green Township - 西
- Falls Township (northeastern portion) - 北west
It is the most easterly township in Hocking County.
Murray City, the smallest municipality in Hocking County, is located in Ward Township, as are the unincorporated communities of Carbon Hill and Sand Run.
Name and history[編輯]
Ward Township was organized in 1836. It was named for Naham (or perhaps Nathan[4]) Ward, a landowner.[5]
It is the only Ward Township statewide.[6]

鎮區有3人組成的理事會管理。理事會理事選舉在奇數年11月舉行,並在來年1月1日開始四年任期。兩名理事的選舉在總統選舉後一年舉行,另一名的選舉在總統選舉前一年舉行。鎮區財務官亦由選舉產生[7],與一名鎮區理事選舉同時舉行,不過在來年4月1日才開始四年任期。若財務官或理事職位有空缺,將由剩餘理事填補。
