世界量子日（英语：World Quantum Day，缩写：WQD）是每年4月14日庆祝的国际活动，旨在促进全世界大众对量子科学和量子技术的认识和了解[1][2][3]。
历史[编辑]
世界量子日始于2021年4月14日，由国际科学家团体发起[4]。工程师、教育工作者、科学传播者、组织和其他人士加入了这项倡议，于2022年4月14日庆祝首个世界量子日[5]。之所以选择4月14日，是因为“4.14”代表普朗克常数四舍五入后的前三位数字：4.14×10-15 eV·s.[1][6]
2023年5月2日，美国参议院通过决议，纪念并支持世界量子日[7]。
2023年12月6日，欧盟提倡了欧洲量子技术宣言，努力使欧洲成为世界级的“量子谷”[8]。
活动[编辑]
2022年的首个世界量子日在五大洲40多个国家举办了200多场活动[4]，而2023年的活动数量增加到400多场[9]。世界量子日在4月14日及前后举行庆祝活动，因为活动不一定要在完全相同的日期举行[9]。
活动包括讲座、座谈会、小组讨论、实验室参观、艺术创作、访谈等[4][10][11]。
组织机构[编辑]
这项全球倡议得到世界量子日协调小组和来自65个以上国家的代表的支持[12][13]。每个国家在世界量子日网络中都有一到两名代表[12]。
