刘易斯·查尔斯·阿灵顿（英语：Lewis Charles Arlington，1859年10月2日—1942年），也译为阿林敦[1]，美国汉学家。
他于1879年来到中国，先加入北洋水师，1884年后转到南洋水师，参加了中法战争。他于1886年进入大清皇家海关总税务司工作，1906－1929年在邮政局服务，1919－1926年间在中华民国邮政总局任邮政司。1929年退休后仍住在北京。他在中国生活了60余年，退休后专门从事写作和研究，成为一位汉学家。[2][3]

他是苏格兰裔美国人，于1859年10月2日生于美国加利福尼亚州旧金山，青年时代有长期的航海船员经历。[2]
他于1879年来到中国天津。1885年参加了中法战争中的石浦海战与镇海之战。

- 《青龙过眼》是《Through the Dragon's Eyes》的中译本。[4][5]
- 赵晓阳译的《In Search of Old Peking》有两个版本。《古都旧景》由经济科学出版社出版；《寻找老北京》由清华大学出版社出版。[6][7][8]

- 1930年出版《The Chinese drama from the earliest times until today》。《中国戏剧史》一书由翟理斯序，梅兰芳题。[9]
- 1937年与艾克敦合著《Famous Chinese Plays》将中国古典戏剧翻译为英文。《中国名剧集》一书也译为《戏剧之精华》。[1][10]
