阿拉伯图像基金会（法语：Fondation arabe pour l'image ;阿拉伯语：المؤسسة العربية للصورة / ALA-LC罗马化系统 : al-Muʾassasah al-ʿArabiyyah lil-Ṣūrah ) 是于1997 年在贝鲁特成立的非牟利机构，旨在追踪、收集、保存和研究来自中东、北非及阿拉伯侨民[1]的相片。基金会现拥有超过60万份馆藏，其中包括来自黎巴嫩、叙利亚、巴勒斯坦、约旦、埃及、摩洛哥、伊拉克、伊朗、墨西哥、阿根廷及塞内加尔[2]的相片。
历史[编辑]
阿拉伯图像基金会由摄影师Fouad Elkoury、Samer Mohdad及艺术家Akram Zaatari于1997年建立，以应对贝鲁特缺乏或急速流失摄影档案馆的状况。[3]阿拉伯图像基金会的创始成员包括黎巴嫩裔美国摄影师Lucien Samaha[4]。基金会的藏品揭示了阿拉伯世界部分的社会历史，包括阿拉伯人过往尝试以摄影建构其族裔形象的图像。[5]
