This 22°-halo was observed in Sainte-Marie, Martinique, FWI, April 23st 2004 at 15:38. Shooted by myself using a cameraphone. I already have taken mp4/3gpp mini-movies, to be published here when possible. The sun is the center of the halo. Halos are caused by high altitude ice crystals between you and the sun (or moon) refracting the light. They're common at high latitudes, especially in winter, but tropical halos (like this one) are more rare.
Circular Rainbow is a very rare meteorological phenomena, this one was shooted by mysefl using a cameraphone in Sainte-Marie, Martinique, French West Indies, April 23st 2004 15:48
