微软认证技术专员

微软认证技术专员（MCTS）是微软于2007年推出的新一代微软专业认证，等级在MCP（Microsoft Certified Professional）之上的高级认证，持有MCTS代表对微软某个技术或某个产品具有充份的技术能力，可以执行配置设置（针对网管或系统管理人员）或程序撰写能力（针对开发人员），MCTS是以产品和技术为认证的标的，与MCP系列不同，每一个MCTS认证均只有一科考试科目，只要通过该科考试，即可获取MCTS资格，但开发技术的MCTS要求考生必须要先通过Exam 70-536: TS: Microsoft .NET Framework Application Development Foundation才可以获取开发技术的MCTS认证的资格（此要求在.NET Framework 4.0发布之后已经取消）。

MCTS的认证通常以MCTS:所认可的技术或产品方式表示，例如SQL Server 2005的MCTS认为表示法为MCTS:SQL Server 2005。

MCTS的考试名称皆以TS开头，方便识别。

微软在2012年重新变更认证架构，新的MCSA需要考过两科才能获取认证，MCTS亦将于考试停考后走入历史。

Windows Server 2008系列[编辑]

以Windows Server 2008的配置设置为主，并做为MCITP: Enterprise Administrator与MCITP: Server Administrator的前置需求。
