肖恩·威廉·麦克洛克林（英语：Seán William McLoughlin，1990年2月7日—），较广为人知的是化名Jacksepticeye（或简称Jack），爱尔兰YouTuber，专注于Let's Play（英语：Let's Play (video gaming)）的独立游戏[2]。截至2022年12月，Jacksepticeye已经有超过2890万名订阅者与157亿观看次数[3]，同时为YouTube最大的爱尔兰人频道[4]与第29多订阅者频道[5]。

早年生活

麦克洛克林在1990年2月7日出生于爱尔兰科洛格罕（英语：Cloghan, County Offaly），并在巴里坎伯（英语：Ballycumber）长大。在中学毕业后，他到阿斯隆理工学院（英语：Athlone Institute of Technology）就读音乐工艺课程但在毕业前1年中途辍学，之后在一位于网上结识的朋友的鼓励下，他重回大学修读英文并于2014年毕业[6]。在YouTube生涯未开始前麦克洛克林是一个名叫Raised to the Ground的独立金属乐队的鼓手[7]。

YouTube生涯

麦克洛克林于2007年2月24日以“Jacksepticeye”为名创建YouTube频道，他第一部视频为于2012年11月12日上传的固蛇（《合金装备4 爱国者之枪》）视频，之后麦克洛克林陆续上传《孤岛惊魂3》[8]与《黑暗之魂II》的游戏实况视频[9]。麦克洛克林在自己的其中一部视频中认为自己在频道早期时过度“平静”，不符合现在他自称“YouTube上最有活力的电子游戏评论员”的形象[10]。2017年5月，他搬到英国的布赖顿居住[11]。

在PewDiePie于2013年9月公布其为希望成为有着一定数量订阅数的YouTuber举办的“Shout-out比赛”为麦克洛克林后[12]，“Jacksepticeye”便快速增长。他当时的频道只有2000多个订阅者，然后在1年间暴增至100多万[12]。

2016年3月，麦克洛克林与蕾切尔·奎里科（Rachel Quirico）共同主办西南偏南游戏奖颁奖礼[13][14]。2016年5月7日，“Jacksepticeye”的订阅数突破1000万大关[15]。

频道特色

麦克洛克林上传过许多不同系列的电子游戏视频且发片时间通常相隔3至5天。他有2个不是电子游戏视频的系列，其中一个为“读你们的评论”（Reading Your Comments），在这系列中麦克洛克林会读订阅者在他的社交平台专页留的好留言或坏留言[16]。另外一个是Vlog，在视频中他会谈论他的生活或与其频道有关的事[17]。

“杰克”（Jack）为麦克洛克林在小时候母亲和朋友对他的昵称，而“Jacksepticeye”则是朋友对他的戏称[注 1]，来自他在踢足球时因朋友的眼镜而在眼睛留下的伤口[18]。根据他所说当时他的眼睛流血过一段时间，且在几个星期后受感染[18]。麦克洛克林在每个视频的开头都会高声说：“早安！我的名字是Jacksepticeye！”（Top of the mornin' to laddies! My name is Jacksepticeye!），这也是他称自己为“YouTube上最有活力的电子游戏评论员”的其中一个原因[10]。

“Jacksepticeye”的标志名为“SepticEyeSam”，那是麦克洛克林的商品中最常看到的东西，包括它的绒毛玩具和印有它图案的T恤[19]。“SepticEyeSam”的主要颜色为浊绿色，恰巧与麦克洛克林的头发同色，这是他参加一次慈善活动后染成的[20]。

麦克洛克林是家中最小的孩子，他有2个姐姐和2个哥哥[6]，其中一个哥哥名叫马尔科姆（Malcolm），现为作家[21]。他的现任女友来自荷兰，名叫Evelien Smolders 也是一名Youtuber，网名叫Gab Smolders[22]，于2019年10月30日第一次在麦克洛克林的视频Doing A Couples Quiz With My Girlfriend中出现[23]。
