杜贊奇（英語：Prasenjit Duara，阿薩姆語：প্রসেনজিৎ দুৱঁৰা），印度人，美國著名中國史學者。拜漢學家孔飛力為師，曾任教於美國芝加哥大學歷史學系及東亞語言文明系。現任新加坡國立大學萊佛士人文講座教授，兼任新加坡國立大學人文學部主任暨亞洲研究院院長。
理論貢獻
[編輯]他創造了基層政權營利型經紀人的概念，這些「經紀人」幫助國家在鄉村建構「權力的文化網絡」，用以溝通現代國家在建立時期和基層鄉村的博弈關係。杜贊奇的「經紀人」是用來指稱那些身處傳統官僚體制之外，但卻幫助國家實施對鄉村社會汲取和治理的一個社會群體，在杜贊奇的筆下，這個群體居於國家與鄉村社會之間，他們幫助國家的同時，也藉以實現自身的利益，所以，杜贊奇用「經紀統治」來進行概括。
