霍華德·馬克斯 (英語：Howard Stanley Marks, 1946年4月23日—)是一位美國投資者，企業家和作家。他是橡樹資本管理公司的聯合創始人兼聯席董事長。
生平[編輯]
1946年出生於美國紐約，在皇后區長大。[2]儘管他是猶太家族，但卻以基督科學家模式培養成長。[3] 1967年畢業於賓夕法尼亞大學沃頓商學院金融和日本研究專業。[4][5][2]23歲獲得芝加哥大學工商管理碩士學位。[4]畢業後前往紐約工作，1969年至1978年任職於花旗集團，[4]1978年至1985年擔任花旗集團副總裁。1980年代搬遷至洛杉磯。[6]1985年加入TCW集團，1995年和其他五位合伙人成立橡樹資本管理。[7][8][9]此外他還是特許財務分析師證書持有者和一位作家。[10]
管理風格[編輯]
霍華德·馬克斯認為投資群眾之心態會像鐘擺型態擺盪，在樂觀與悲觀間擺盪、在輕信與多疑間擺盪、在害怕錯失機會與害怕虧錢間擺盪，以及在渴望買進與及急躁於賣出間擺盪。鐘擺之擺盪會使群眾於高價買進，並於低價賣出。[11]:132霍華德·馬克斯認為與群眾行動一致，後患無窮，於極端情況下採取反向策略，能幫助投資人避開虧損。
