Hakawai
Hakawai，亦稱Hokioi，是指紐西蘭毛利人傳說中的神秘鳥類。毛利人神話中，Hakawai是一種巨鳥，它的聲音預示著戰爭，但鳥類學家對Hakawai是否真實存在保持懷疑態度。鳥類學家科林·密斯凱利博士（Colin Miskelly）認為Hakawai是南島沙錐求偶時發出的聲音，[1][2]另一些研究者則認為Hakawai是已滅絕的哈斯特鷹的民間記憶。[3]
