Matter是一項智慧型家居的開源標準，由連接標準聯盟制定、認證、推廣，該標準基於網際網路協定（IP），遵循該標準的智慧型家居裝置、行動應用程式和雲服務能夠進行互聯和通訊。
歷史
[編輯]2019年12月18日，亞馬遜、蘋果、谷歌、三星SmartThings和Zigbee聯盟宣布發起「IP互聯家庭專案」（英語：Project Connected Home over IP，簡稱為CHIP專案）。該專案旨在簡化智慧型家居廠商的開發流程，提高不同裝置之間的相容性。[1][2]。
2021年5月11日，CHIP專案協定正式命名為「Matter」，ZigBee聯盟也更名為連接標準聯盟（Connectivity Standards Alliance）[3]。
2022年10月4日，Matter 1.0標準正式發布並開放認證[4]。
