Hambden Township is one of the sixteen townships of Geauga County, 俄亥俄州, 美國. The 2000 census found 4,024 people in the township.[3]

Located in the northern part of the county, 與以下鎮區接壤:
- LeRoy Township, Lake County - 北
- Thompson Township - 北east corner
- Montville Township - 東
- Huntsburg Township - 東南 corner
- Claridon Township - 南
- Munson Township - 南west corner
- Chardon Township - 西
- Concord Township, Lake County - 北west
A small part of the city of Chardon, the county seat of Geauga County, is located in southwestern Hambden Township. The unincorporated settlement of Hambden[4] is located in the center, at the intersection of U.S. Route 6 and State Route 608.
Name and history[編輯]
Founded in 1801 by Dr. Solomon Bond, for whom it was originally named,[5] it is the only Hambden Township statewide.[6]
政府[編輯]
鎮區有3人組成的理事會管理。理事會理事選舉在奇數年11月舉行,並在來年1月1日開始四年任期。兩名理事的選舉在總統選舉後一年舉行,另一名的選舉在總統選舉前一年舉行。鎮區財務官亦由選舉產生[7],與一名鎮區理事選舉同時舉行,不過在來年4月1日才開始四年任期。若財務官或理事職位有空缺,將由剩餘理事填補。
