这是一张修改过的图片,这意味着它已在原版本的基础上通过软件进行了编辑,改动内容:On the advice of MWAK I made some changes to this diagram:
Removed colours of the clades. I know of no colouring system used in cladistics in such a way. Changed colours of geochronologic units to official colours.
Birds are now part of the Theropoda
Put Maniraptora in a more basal position, changed the name in the balloon to Deinonychosauria
Presented Ceratosauria as a sister group, not a basal group of the Theropoda
Made Prosauropoda and Sauropoda sister groups instead of presenting the first as the ancestors of the second
Removed the suggestion that the Sauropoda declined in importance during the Cretaceous
Made the Heterodontosauridae the first group to split off the main branch of the Ornithischia
Merged Hadrosauridae, Iguanodontidae and Hypsilophodontidae into one group: Euornithopoda. The first two are paraphyletic anyway.
Merged Psittacosauridae and Ceratop(s)ia. The first is part of the second group.
Added the names of the basal groups Cerapoda and Genasauria
Explanation: MWAK argued the diagram originally uploaded by Zureks (based on a Polish encyclopaedia) contains outdated views and also plain mistakes. We think this version is better in line with current cladistic views on Dinosaur evolution.。其原始版本为:Evolution of dinosaurs by Zureks.svg。修改者:Woudloper。
